The Hartford Names President Mo Tooker Chief Executive Effective March 1

Christopher Swift will move to executive chair and step down in the second half of 2027, with Tooker joining the board on Oct. 1 ahead of the handover.

The Hartford said on Sept. 30 that President A. Morris "Mo" Tooker will become chief executive on March 1, 2027, succeeding Christopher Swift, who will move to the role of executive chair.
