Using the service

You may read, link to and share CI articles for personal, non-commercial use. You may not scrape, republish, resell or use our journalism to train machine-learning systems without written permission.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity on your account.

Accounts and subscriptions

Some content is limited to registered readers or paying subscribers. Subscription pricing, renewal and cancellation are described in our Terms of Sale.

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, abuse our systems, or share paid access beyond permitted household use.

Reader contributions

Comments and other contributions must follow our Code of Ethics Policy and community standards. You keep ownership of what you post, but grant CI a non-exclusive licence to display and distribute it.

CI journalism is provided for information only and is not investment, legal or tax advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CI is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.
