Tesla Opens a Dedicated Semi Plant in Nevada and Begins Customer Deliveries
The Sparks factory is designed for 50,000 Class 8 trucks a year, nine years after the Semi was unveiled. Tesla did not disclose pricing or near-term production volumes.

Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) inaugurated a dedicated factory for its Semi Class 8 truck on Thursday evening and began customer deliveries, nine years after the vehicle was first unveiled. The event was held at the new plant adjacent to Gigafactory Nevada in Sparks, at about 9 p.m. Eastern.
