Tesla Delivers 486,532 Vehicles in the Third Quarter, Beating Estimates but Trailing Last Year
Deliveries exceeded production by about 22,000 vehicles, and energy storage deployments of 13.7 gigawatt-hours fell short of Wall Street's estimate.

Tesla said it delivered 486,532 vehicles in the third quarter, ahead of a Wall Street consensus of 461,974 but down 2.1% from the 497,099 it delivered a year earlier. Shares rose on the report; TheStreet put the gain at 5.20% for the session.
