NetApp Moves to Buy PEAK:AIO, Folding Parallel File System Technology Into ONTAP

Terms were not disclosed. NetApp said the deal adds metadata services and parallel namespace capabilities aimed at large-scale AI workloads.

NetApp said Friday it intends to acquire PEAK:AIO, a provider of metadata architecture and high-performance parallel file systems, in a transaction whose terms were not disclosed.
