DoorDash has agreed to acquireGrubhub Campus Dining from its parent company, Wonder, for $300 million in cash. Announced on September 15, 2026, the deal is part of a larger $425 million strategic partnership. Under this agreement, DoorDash is also executing a separate $125 million investment into Wonder's Series D funding round. The acquisition marks an aggressive move by DoorDash to anchor itself in student-dense demographics while helping Wonder capitalize its core vision of automated, tech-driven food halls. The transaction is anticipated to officially close in the first half of 2027, pending necessary regulatory approvals.
