Ameriprise Authorizes Another $5.5 Billion of Share Repurchases Through September 2028

The new authorization is roughly an eighth of the asset manager's market capitalization and follows an April 2025 program with about $1.1 billion still remaining.

Ameriprise Financial said Tuesday that its board has authorized an additional $5.5 billion share repurchase program, extending the company's buyback capacity through September 30, 2028.
